Tokyo Seimitsu held Supplier Information Session

Tokyo Seimitsu Co., Ltd. (the Company) held a "Supplier Information Session" at Tokyo Tama Mirai Messe (in Hachioji City, Tokyo) on Monday, July 24, to promote sustainability activities throughout the supply chain. A total of 102 people (including online participants) from 92 companies attended.

At the session, we explained its "Sustainability Policy and Activities" and "Request for Cooperation in Sustainability Activities, Including Supply Chain Activities,". We also asked our suppliers for their understanding and cooperation in conducting human rights due diligence to reduce the risk of human rights violations, including in the supply chain, in accordance with the “Tokyo Seimitsu Group Human Rights Policy” announced in October 2022.

The Company established Sustainability Committee chaired by Chairman and CEO in 2022 to accelerate its efforts to address materiality for sustainable growth. In July 2023, the Company established Supply Chain Working Group within the Sustainability Committee to promote understanding of the "Tokyo Seimitsu CSR Guidelines" among its suppliers to develop a sustainable supply chain.
The Company will continue to value its relationships with the suppliers and strive to strengthen its supply chain management in order to grow together with them while responding to the demands of society.
