An A-E converter is a unit that uses bellows and a differential transformer to convert minute dimensional changes detected by an air nozzle into an electric signal. This maximizes the benefits of both air micrometers, such as simple measurement head, durability and ease-of-use, and electric micrometers, such as fast response speed and the ability to acquire various output signals.
This makes it an ideal unit for manual measuring systems as well as automatic measuring systems.
