Code of Conduct for the Protection of Personal Information

Tokyo Seimitsu Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, the Company) establishes the Code of Conduct and strives to protect and maintain personal information as necessary and appropriate based on the recognition that the protection and appropriate management of personal information is a social responsibility of the Company.

1. Conforming to laws and regulations and reviewing the Code

With respect to the collection, utilization and provision of personal information handled in its business, Tokyo Seimitsu Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, the Company) conforms to the guidelines and other rules prescribed by the government to ensure that such information is handled in an appropriate manner. Also, the Company endeavors to make continuous improvement of the handling of personal information and reviews the Code of Conduct as appropriate for improvement.

2. Acquisition and utilization

The Company acquires personal information through appropriate and fair means and uses such information solely within the scope of the purpose of use. If the Company uses personal information for any purposes other than those described below, the purpose of use is clearly indicated, and if any change is to be made, the Company notifies as such to the owner of the personal information or makes a public announcement.

5. Provision of personal information to third party

Unless provided by the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws and regulations, the Company does not provide personal information to any third party without obtaining prior consent from the owner of the information.

6. Outsourcing the management of personal information

If the Company outsources the handling of personal information, either wholly or partly, to a third party, the Company conducts a strict investigation of the third party in question and supervises them as necessary and appropriate to ensure the safe management of the personal information.

7. Disclosure, correction, etc.

If the owner of personal information requests the Company to disclose, correct or delete the personal information, the Company responds to the request to the extent reasonable after confirming that the person who made the request is the owner of the information.

Code of Conduct for the Protection of Specific Personal Information

Considering that working to ensure safe and appropriate handling of individual number and other specific personal information (hereinafter, "specific personal information, etc.") is a corporate social responsibility, Tokyo Seimitsu Co. Ltd. (hereinafter, the Company) appropriately handles specific personal information, etc. in accordance with the following Code of Conduct.

The Company conforms to the laws, regulations, guidelines and other rules applicable to specific personal information, etc.
