Tokyo Seimitsu Co., Ltd. (President, CEO & COO: Sadakatsu Suzuki) has started sales of the “PRO”, a new series of Horizontal Arm Type CNC 3D Coordinate Measuring Machine made by Carl Zeiss Company.

The “PRO” series is a horizontal arm type CNC 3D coordinate measuring machine ideally suited to the needs of auto body measurement for error analysis during prototype production and for process management. There are strong demands to decrease the development and prototype production lead time on the plant floor where auto body measurement is performed. The “PRO” series effectively responds to these demands, providing high speed and high measuring precision.

Three models are available in the “PRO” series with a wide range of price, speed and probe for the diverse requirement of customers: “Compact”, “Select” and “Premium”. The “Eagle Eye” non-contact line laser sensor can be installed on the top-of-the-line “PRO Premium”, enabling measuring time to be reduced by a maximum of 50% compared to that of the previous contact-type sensors, dramatically enhancing measuring efficiency.

The “PRO” series already has a proven track record with many customers in Europe and the United States, and we will be devoting considerable resources to promoting the sales of the “PRO” series in the Japanese market, mainly focusing on its application for auto body measuring.
