New factories to be Built of Semiconductor Company in Hachioji and of Metrology Company in Tsuchiura

Tokyo Seimitsu ACCRETECH (Chairman, CEO & CFO: Hideo Otsubo) has decided to build new factories at its semiconductor manufacturing equipment factory in Hachioji and at measuring systems factory in Tsuchiura, details of which are featured below.

As a result of various semiconductor manufacturers making active facility investments, Tokyo Seimitsu's semiconductor manufacturing equipment business has been enjoying steady increases in orders and sales for both established products including wafer probers and wafer dicers, and new products including polish grinders and CMP. To boost its production capacity, the company will build a new factory on a previously purchased lot, 14,654.5 m2 in area, adjacent to the Hachioji Plant. The new plant will manufacture polish grinders, CMP, and wafer dicers.

Similarly, with the recovery in domestic business, the company's measuring system business has been seeing steady growth in orders and sales. Since production capacity needs to be reinforced, the company has decided to build a new factory on the Tsuchiura Plant's premises.
