Launch of CONTOURECORD 1700DX, Contour Measuring Instrument with New Linear Motor Giving Major Advances in Accuracy and Speed
Tokyo Seimitsu Co., Ltd. (Hideo Ohtsubo, Chairman & C.E.O.) has begun sales of its new linear motor (Patent Pending) driven, Contour Measuring Instrument CONTOURECORD 1700DX. This is a significant enhancement to our CONTOURECORD series, which allows high precision measurement accuracy for machine parts such as molds.
COUNTOURECORD 1700DX offers enormous improvement in measuring accuracy by adopting Tokyo Seimitsu's new linear motor technology. Accuracy levels now standard to this machine could only previously be achieved through highly specialized equipment.
Additionally, the speed of processing has been dramatically improved with the linear motor drive which is contact-free and has a simplified structure (measuring speed improved up to 20mm/s, movement speed up to 60mm/s). Further efficiency benefits for users are achieved by the reduction of the machine's footprint by approximately 25% compared to our conventional products from the result of vertical re-design.
Tokyo Seimitsu's unique AI functions that enable auto-setting of measuring conditions and size display, auto-crowning and so on, are all included.
