Tokyo Seimitsu Begins Sales of XYZAX SVA, New Series CNC 3D Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Developed in Partnership with Carl Zeiss

Tokyo Seimitsu Co., Ltd. (Hideo Ohtsubo, Chairman & C.E.O.) has begun sales of its XYZAX SVA (600A, 800A, 1000A), a new series of CNC 3D Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).

XYZAX SVA is a cutting-edge CNC 3D CMM developed by integration of Tokyo Seimitsu's high rigidity design technology with Carl Zeiss analysis/control technology.

XYZAX SVA is loaded with advanced mechanisms that enable consistent high accuracy as well as a brand new computer aided accuracy technology. Also, the measurement software includes "Calypso" developed by Carl Zeiss, providing superior graphics functions and AI functions (automatic element discrimination, automatic coordinate setting). Compared with our existing models, higher accuracy and rigidity is realized, in addition to approx. 20% shorter measuring time.

Because XYZAX SVA enables 3D data to be utilized through each process from design, test production, analysis/simulation, manufacturing and evaluation, reverse engineering can be done easily, resulting in reduction of the number of manufacturing processes and faster delivery of products.

Tokyo Seimitsu continues to strive to offer technology solutions to enhance our customers' efficiency and competitiveness.
