Introduction of an in-house company system
Tokyo Seimitsu Co., LTD will introduce an Executive Officer system and an in-house company system, effective from April 1, 2002.
The new arrangement will mean that the Company will be virtually divided into three in-house entities - one relating to Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment (called the Semiconductor Company), a second relating to Measuring Instruments (called the Metrology Company) and a third for administration services (called the Administration Company). The Administration Company will provide indirect services to the others. This re-organization is internal to Tokyo Seimitsu and will have no impact on the external company configuration or shareholdings.
