Tokyo Seimitsu Begins Sales of “XYZAX RVA-A”, New Series CNC CMM, Consolidating Own AI Capability and ZEISS CMM Technology
Tokyo Seimitsu Co., Ltd. begins sales of "XYZAX RVA-A", a new series of CNC CMM.
"XYZAX RVA-A" is a machine developed by integration of the CMM implementing the TSK's leading-edge 'AI capability' with 'High performance controller (Controller C99)' of Carl Zeiss in Germany. This integration results in easy operation for beginners, reduction of CNC measurement time by about 30% from existing machines (in TSK test), space-savings for the controller to about half that of existing machines (of TSK). Temperature compensation functions of the standard unit can also contribute to savings in air-conditioning running costs.
The measurement software includes "Calypso" developed by Carl Zeiss to run on Windows NT which has excellent graphics capabilities as standard.. CAD data can be read in to create a measurement procedure with CAD elements (simple off-line teaching). In addition, TSK original software "XYANA 2000" designed for easy operation, can be installed, too.
